Other information & experiences
I have been working as a freelance translator since 2012, but I did not work as a translator. I took the jobs I received from individuals. These were usually thesis and article translations. Also, I took courses on law, commerce and economics in my department. In 2014, I went to Budapest with Erasmus and took German and English courses there. I translated subtitles for the Mountain Film Festival for two semesters. I did an internship at the İzmir Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism. In this internship, I made translations about the environment and culture and helped tourists verbally and in writing. I studied TRADOS at university. My department taught in English and German. but I don't prefer to translate in German language. I also took elective courses in Russian, Hungarian and Latin.
