Je suis né en Iran et depuis que mes parents ont immigré en Turquie quand j'étais enfant, je me suis habitué à apprendre et à utiliser les deux langues à peu près en même temps. J'ai appris l'anglais avec des cours particuliers quand j'avais 12 ans, et j'ai pu commencer les cours sans étudier la préparation en obtenant une note supérieure à 85 à l'examen de compétence en anglais à la Middle East Technical University, auquel j'ai participé en 2009. Depuis l'âge de 17 ans, je traduis volontairement des rapports et des nouvelles sur les droits de l'homme en Iran du persan et de l'azéri vers le turc et l'anglais. En deuxième année de mon école, j'ai pris un congé et j'ai travaillé comme traductrice à l'Assemblée des citoyens d'Helsinki. Plus tard, j'ai commencé un travail indépendant de traduction écrite et consécutive persan-turc pour un doctorat en sociologie et je continue à le faire.
